Walmart is now official open for criminals.:

In todays episode a young man who works at Walmart checks customer's credit card and asks for ID. Well basically I asked this customer for her ID which I was told to do especially because there were recent thefts involving such tvs. She bought a small lcd tv and when I asked her for ID she made the excuse that her ID was in her car and she didn't want to get it. I insisted it was necessary and she objected. I called a manager thinking that person would support my efforts to prevent fraud which costs the store money. I was surprised when the manager told me that asking for ID was optional and that I should let her leave with the tv which I did. Luckily for me after that my shift was over. I left the store disgusted at my manager and at the company. I think Walmart should put a sign on the store thats says open for criminals.
