Dilemna Dilemna! There is this girl who I really like at work which I know is surprising. Anyways she was in a relationship for a long period a time, that ended. I don't know if she is over this heartbreak and if she is ready to date again. I don't want to upset her by dredging up painful memories of her failed relationship. That is my main concern in the matter.

I am also concerned that she may not want to go on a date with me. I am also concerned that I may ruin my friendship with her by asking her out. If she had turned me down I may not be able to be around her due to the painful memories she'll may always evoke. Then I will truly be alone in the lunchroom at work.
