I haven't gone on a date yet which is disappointing but hopefully it will happen shortly. I have been communicating with a girl on lavalife though which is a start. At this preliminary point things are going smoothly. She knows my name and I her's. I know a little more about her. Up to this point she has not asked me any questions which is disappointing as I perceive the lack of questions as being a lack of interest and yet by the enthusiasm she expresses there is definately is some interest. She has given me one of her email addresses so that we can communicate more often as she is not always able to check her lavalife account at work.

One thing good that I have done was take a chance as she had no profile photo and I was very skeptical of her interest in me as a result. I had no idea what she looked like based on her profile. To be honest I was flattered that someone would indicate their interest without any prompting. Her profile intrigued me though because she expressed in it that sex was very important to her but yet she was looking for more than that which basically mirrors where I am now. I suppose I could have just found girls just to have sex with and yet I am holding out for more than that. Anyways what did I have to lose so I wrote her indicating my interest in her and asked to see some photos of her. It turned out that she was pretty and the reason she hadn't submitted a profile photo was that all her photos had other people in them. She did not look like Jabba the Hut afterall.
