stopping fucking your own industry!:

Wow I can't believe it! This was my response after reading a news link from Chickpea981' diary.
The shocking part was not that 2 porn stars tested positive for HIV for me although my sympathy goes out to them and others directly affected. The source of my shock is that major porn production companies would put their stars at risk by letting them have sex unprotected.
I know that in the 70's that unprotected sex was common without knowledge or the acceptance that a problem existed. But today for so called repreable porn companies to let their stars go unprotected seems reckless similar to driving drunk. Just because you didn't get hurt doesn't mean that the reckless actions in question will not catch up with you.
I'm not nieve enough to believe that there aren't some smaller porn companies today that bend the rules. What I can't believe is that all large porn production companys don't mandate the use of condoms in all there pictures. Companies such as this put the whole industry at risk because of the bad perception. Such a perception could have a lasting effect if Bush (or any other American President that thinks similarly) in his ritious ignigation declares porn illegal which is possible. Becareful guys and girls because the vultures are watching.
